  • Advantage approached WCL intially to request some bespoke training in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. This training was conducted at the client site on their own PCs. This was beneficial as delegates were at their own desk with the opportunity to apply their new found knowledge to their existing spreadsheets immediately.
  • Advantage requested some further Excel training but this time our trainer suggested one-to-one coaching so that they could identify areas where a lot of time was spent on repetitive tasks. The trainer then suggested specific Excel tools which could vastly improve their efficiency and productivity whilst the training was conducted using copies of their own spreadsheets.
  • This approach ensured the delegate had working examples from which they could always refer to when they wanted to refresh their skills.
  • Advantage identified that they spent a lot of time editing Excel reports that were created from external database queries. We prepared a bespoke Access training course which taught them to create their own queries rather than raise an IT helpdesk call. They now feel confident to develop their own small Access databases which have greatly increased their productivity and avoided the need for multiple spreadsheets and time consuming data entry.
